1. Tournament Registration Fee

4. Tournament Roster / Team Rules

  -Each team may register up to 10 players.
  -Only 9 players will play each match.
  -1 substitute may be used per match, but:
  -No mid-match substitutions for batting or bowling.
  -Substitutes may enter for fielding only.



Final Team Player updates (add/remove) allowed until:
🗓 6th March, 11:59 PM
 
 
After this deadline, rosters lock permanently.



5. Tournament Format

Guaranteed Matches
  -Every team gets a minimum of 4 matches.
  -Each match lasts 30 minutes.
  -Format: 5 overs match.

  -Teams face only the teams in their own group.
  -Top 2 teams from each group qualify for Knockouts

đź“… Knockout Stage
Includes:
  Quarter Finals- 8 overs
  Semi Finals - 8 overs
  Finals- 8 overs 



6. Dress Code
  

League will provide team jerseys.
  


Teams must submit:
  -Player Name
  -Jersey Number
  -Jersey Size 
by đź—“ 25th February.
 


Late submissions may not be Allowed.
If details aren't submitted, teams must arrange their own jerseys.


Proper sports shoes are mandatory.


7. Basic Rules

Match Timing
  -All matches start and end exactly on time.
  -No delays or grace periods.

Toss
  -Coin toss decides batting or bowling first.

Players on Field:
  Bowling side: 9 fielders

  Batting side: 2 active batsmen


  Overthrows allowed:
  -Hits boundary → 4 runs
  -Hits wall/roof → play continues
  -Turf roof → catch out → OUT
  -Turf Side Wall → catch out → NOT OUT
  -Hit wicket = Out
  -No LBW


No Ball Conditions:
A delivery is a No Ball if:
  -Bowler’s front foot touches any box line.
  -Wicketkeeper collects the ball in front of stumps.
  -Ball bounces before the pitch begins.
  -No Ball = Free Hit
  -Bowled/caught/stumped → Not Out
  -Run-out is allowed.
  -Obstructing the field while running → Out

Scoring:
  -Straight aerial shot → 6 runs
  -Straight ground shot → 4 runs
  -Runs may be taken from anywhere on the turf.





Other:
  -Ball tampering prohibited.
  -Minimum 5 players required to start.
  -Players from other teams cannot substitute.



8. Bowling Rules
  -Maximum 2 overs for any 1 bowler.

  -Maximum 2 Bowler can bowl 2 overs in Knockouts.

  -Ball tampering is strictly prohibited.
  -Line Touch → No Ball
  -

Speed Limit Rule:
-Any unsafe ball (too fast) judged by umpire = Dead Ball and then a No Ball
  -Side-arm bowling above waist is not allowed



9. Batting Rules
  -No last man standing.
  -Batsman may retire hurt and return (umpire approval required).
  -No substitute runners allowed.
  -If a retired batsman cannot return, no replacement is allowed.



10. General Guidelines

Team Captain Responsibilities
  -Ensure all teammates understand rules.
  -Keep roster updated before deadline.
  -Maintain sportsmanship and punctuality.


Unsportsmanlike Behaviour

Includes:
  -Trash talk
  -Umpire or opponent abuse
  -Aggression or fighting
  -Discriminatory remarks

Penalties:
-Suspension or permanent ban without refund.

Spectator Rules:
  -Teams are responsible for spectators’ behaviour.

  -Children must be supervised.
  -Dogs are not allowed.
  -Spectators violating rules may be removed.

Equipment:
  -Players bring their own kits.

  -League provides match balls.


Drugs / Alcohol:
  -No drugs, alcohol, smoking or vaping allowed anywhere in the facility.
  -Intoxicated players/spectators will be removed immediately.

Age Requirement
  -All players must be 18+.

Disciplinary Action
  -Suspended players/teams cannot be onsite until reinstated.



11. Venue / Turf Rules
  -Respect venue staff and other users.
  -Proper footwear required.
  -Only water allowed on turf.
  -Food to be consumed outside turf area (but within premises).
  -League is not responsible for lost/stolen items.
  -Teams must clean up after themselves
